The US Attorney Daily Update will be going on an indefinite leave of absence for three reasons.
First, as you can tell from my archives, work has gotten a little busy to the point that I can't really keep up with this story anymore. I haven't posted anything in over a week, and I don't anticipate being able to do so for a long time.
Second, I'm bitterly disappointed with the Democratic leadership on a few issues, and I've completely lost faith in them. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but the bottom line is I don't trust anyone in DC to do the right thing anymore. That has clouded my thoughts and feelings, and (if it hasn't already) will inevitably poison my writing here. I can't be a positive voice for change when I'm in this state, so it's best if I just shut down for awhile.
Finally, the Daily Update's main purpose- to provide a cheat sheet on the US Attorney Purge to those who don't have the time- is slowly fading away. As the Subpoena WarsTM heat up, more and more attention will return to the US Attorney Purge, which means everyone will be pretty well informed on this issue and not needing this update.
So, my work life, personal feelings on the Dem Party leadership, and the returning spotlight to the USA Purge essentially freezes the Daily Update in Carbonite. Many thanks to those who have encouraged and engaged me on this issue, and many thanks to those who have done lots of work and research on this issue.
